
The Employee Self Service (ESS) is a web portal to provide the employee's of the El Dorado County Office of Education a quick and easy way to access their own payroll, leave balances, and other personnel information.
The following is a quick listing of what is available with ESS:
- Your personal demographic record:
- Name and Address (for verification purposes);
- Employee Number;
- Employee Type, Bargaining Unit, and Leave Group; and
- Various Dates (Hire Date, TB Expire, etc.).
- Your payroll history:
- Ability to view and reprint a PDF of your paycheck or direct deposit stubs; and
- Ability to view and reprint a PDF of your W2.
- Your personal employee leave balances:
- Current balances (as of the date posted on the page); and
- Ability to see the details of each leave item for various periods of time. (e.g. Vacation, Sick Leave, etc.).
- The ability to view any credentials, degrees, or name changes that are part of your personnel record.
To register, you must provide the following four (4) pieces of information to create a user profile:
- District you work for.
- Your employee number.
- The last four digits of your Social Security number.
- Your date of birth.
After providing the above information, enter in your desired login name, password, and challenge questions. Once all of your information has been verified, you will be granted access to the site.
