Welcome to the Black Oak Mine Unified School District Employee Self Service (ESS) Portal

Employee Self Service (ESS) is a web portal to provide employees of the Black Oak Mine Unified School District, a quick and easy way to access their own payroll, leave balances, and other personal information.

The Following is a quick listing of what is available with ESS:
Your personal demographic information:

• Name and Address
• Employee Number
• Bargaining Unit

Your payroll history:

• Ability to view and reprint your paycheck or direct deposit stub
• Ability to view and reprint your W-2

Your leave balances:

• Current balance (as of the date posted on the page)
• Ability to see the details of each leave item (Sick Leave and Vacation)

To register:

• Go to the district website for the link to ESS
• Click on the “register” button on the right side menu
• Type in your work email, and click on the start registration button.  You will receive an email that will give you a link to complete your account registration.
• You will need the following information:  your employee number, the last four digits of your Social Security Number, your date of birth and you will need to select Black Oak Mine (09)
• After providing the above information, enter in your desired login name and password.  Once all your information is verified, you will be granted access to the site.
